gah! I just wrote a long and well articulated comment and it didn't get posted for some reason. Well, despite the momentum lost, I just wanted to say that your recent posts have kept me steadily entertained. And this is especially true for when the entries target my own specific humor needs (refering to the HIV post, iran-nuke post (although that wasn't as funny as it was well put)). So bravo Andrew dearest, you have done it again!

but now a more technical side note. You know how when a text is quoted it is italicised? well that makes it appear smaller and fainter and as a result reading it hurts my eyes (especially so with the longer texts). Can the PP management do anything about that and make me a happier consumer?

kind regards,
(maryam)

Thank you, as usual, for your glowing praise. You are the greatest ego boost known to man.

As it happens, I've had complaints about the block quote text in the past, too, but they were always from old people so I figured it was just down to the destructive effect of age on eyesight.

Now, however, in my typically ageist fashion, I have heeded the voice of my 18-30 demographic and tweaked my stylesheet. Quoted text is now slightly bigger and slightly darker, and please, if the improvement is not enough, complain some more.

I laughed out loud at his comic. You know the acronym.

Do you consider yourself a Montreal cartoonist? Can we vote for you in Best Of Montreal (Mirror)?

Hell yes you can vote for me in the Best of Montreal! I'm sure you could count me as a Montreal cartoonist on some kind of technicality - CWG was conceived and largely written while I was living in Montreal. This one was even printed in the McGill Daily.
